As a scholar, I am working on EU-Ukraine-Russia relations, Ukraine’s foreign policy and EU-Ukraine integration. I am a Research Fellow at Zurich University of Applied Sciences. Previously, I worked at ETH Zurich and at RECET, Vienna University. I gained my PhD in Politics at the University of Manchester in 2022.

I have Bachelor Degree in International Economics from Kyiv National Economic University and Master Degree in International Economic Relations from Wroclaw University of Economics (both with highest distinctions). I worked in international companies, NGOs and European institutions. I am also a social activist and I am a member of the Professional Government of Ukraine and the Young Security Conference.

My book investigates the making of Ukraine’s foreign policy towards the European Union and Russia between February 2014 and February 2015.

The book uses a unique set of 38 author-conducted interviews with EU, Ukrainian and Russian policy-makers, and documents’ analysis. It uncovers core misperceptions in EU-Ukraine-Russia relations that contributed to the Russian aggression against Ukraine in 2014 and 2022.
